The Friends Of Belfast Botanic Gardens
played host to BBC Radio Ulster's "Gardeners' Corner Roadshow"
on Thursday 5th December 2002.
The packed programme contained a mix of seasonal queries and interesting
and perplexing questions. Panelists John Cushnie (horticulturalist,
landscaper, author and member of BBC Radio 4's "Gardeners'
Questiontime") and Reg Maxwell (horticulturalist, broadcaster
and senior member of staff in Belfast City Council's Parks Department
with responsibility for South Belfast parks) imparted their wisdom
effortlessly and with humour to an attentive and appreciative audience.
