Eschscholzia
californica The Californian
poppy, a hardy annual although some plants survived last winter with me
. Self seeds itself if given the right conditions. Glaucous blue, feathery
foliage with mainly vibrant orange silky flowers, although creams, yellows
and pinks are also available. Tap-rooted, so sulks if moved. Like the
erigeron karvinskianus, it is a fan of a dry sandy sunny site. |
