Euphorbia
griffithii 'Dixter' A fiery display in April ensures that this plant, once seen, is always remembered. Umbels of fiery red bracts with coral red leaves beneath light up the lengthening evenings. It's rhizomes will spread in it's preferred growing conditions of moist, peaty soil and full sun or part shade. Nevertheless, it is too good a plant to ignore. Be careful of the milky sap when cutting off the bracts in midsummer ; wear gloves as the sap can cause skin irritation. |
