Pilosella
aurantica I have already
described this plant in the "Belfast
Garden" article. Orange dandelion like flowers emerging from
black hairy buds at the top of a green hairy stem. Sounds mad, but it
is a superb plant, spreading in habit, but easily dealt with as the roots
run along the soil surface. Enough just to show a close up. See the photos
of the garden this year (to be posted on the web site in late November)
